I'm torn between 1. wanting to see Seager or Kawasaki at SS and anyone but Figgins in LF, and 2. Seeing how low Ryan and Figgins' batting averages can get. It's comical how few hits Ryan has had.
And re: Chaos: good point. It's hard to believe that back in the 90s the Ms had the best home run hitting team in the history of the game. In 2010 and 2011, I remember being awestruck when a Mariner would crank one out
I do think this team is going to be okay this year. The thing is that Saunders is a great example of what we may expect out of other youngsters development-wise. Unfortunately it's not going to be a quick "get your feet wet and become a solid MLB starter in one year" situation for most of these guys.
