Yeah, too much time on my hands. Was looking at Hultzens stat line and thought....damn, that's a lot of K's. Then looked at Paxton & Walker....wow, that'a a lot of pissed off batters. I don't know what would be considered league or level average...but here is a list of our K leaders in the minors. Only two weeks in but fun just the same. Anyone have an idea of what would be considered elite, good, so so?

In the Southern League the median for team strikeouts is 115. The Generals, with their high-octane pitching staff leads the league with 142. Interestingly, as good as the pitchers have been, they aren't running away with the strikeout lead in the Southern League. Pensacola and Chattanooga are right behind the Generals with 136 K's apiece.

That caught me by surprise, to be honest.
My Adopt-A-Players:
Nate Tenbrink, IF, Jackson Generals
Trevor Miller, RHP, High Desert Mavericks
James Zamarripa, OF, Everett AquaSox
Gabriel Guerrero, OF, Peoria Mariners
