Very tough to deal Ellsbury and I know some will say that Montero/Luebke was not quite enough but I have high hopes that Montero will hit from the start and I think Luebke is going to turn into a very, very good starting pitcher this season. I like the deal and thats all that counts lol.

We still need to find 3 more owners and get the old team's keepers distributed before we can do anything else. So if you have anyone let Zendor know.

Its getting pretty close to the start of the season. We need to figure something out. I've asked around for anybody interested and haven't found much.

hey if no one else has volunteered, than I'd be happy to help take the commish reins till the time comes when our hero is back (not going to be a stretch for me as I commish 2 other leagues)

In the interim I have a proposal.

lets fix the date for keepers, and for the 3 or so teams that dont have owners, I could (or someone else could) propose 6 keepers for those teams. If we find someoe else to take over before our cutoff, then they can amend the keepers, if not they go through with the keepers we picked for them. then we can decide later if those teams run rudderless across the year, or if we do a drop of their teams players and have a waiver for the players

Anyone who can get this started has my vote. But if the draft date/time is not changed, I will probably not play this year. I don't want to try to manage an auto-drafted team.

even then this league is 3 teams short, and the dynasty one is 7 teams short. this one muight be saved by contraction, not much hope for the dynasty though
