Countdown... Posted Image That's A Relief We now have a reason to watch today's game. Just for the prospect of Felix coming in out of the pen to notch two strikeouts in relief. Granted, it's not like watching Randy Johnson come in from the pen to lock down a victory and division championship. But seeing the best hurler in the game come in to stomp the other guys in relief is always fun. Thanks For Sticking Around It's been a tough year. I commend everyone who has stayed with it and bothered to read these gameday posts, even as they tended towards depression and despair. The humor was beaten out of me early this season. Go M's! Go Home And Think About What You've Done!

The Dawgs beating USC will keep a smile on my face for a week.

Only 148 days until the first ST broadcast.

Yes, that UW win was something sweet! The Dawgs definitely helped my Ducks on their road to the BCS championship!

What will it take for me to get season tickets next year?

1. Money I don't have.
2. Energy I don't have (health reasons)
3. Removal of my custodial duties for my 90-year-old mother-in-law
4. A team worth seeing (TBD in spring training if all three of the first factors happen...in other words, no need to worry about it)

There are a lot, if not most teams in college football who do not want to face that Oregon offense. I have no problem predicting a 48-28 Duck win.

Unfortunately, I can only follow the Padres game on Gameday. I thought the Braves clinched the Wild Card, but the Padres can still send it into 3-way tie. The Braves have only clinched the certainty of playing another game. The Padres only have six outs to score two runs to tie it though.

I'm at work with 6 computers in my office so I've got both games on Gameday and a swivel chair.

LOL! I love it!

The SF bullpen is coming up stiff against the Padres and are making that 2-0 lead stick so far. Sergio Romo is in now and soon it will be "fear the beard" time!

Buster Posey just went yard to make it 3-0 Giants. Man, that kid looks just like... a kid without his gear on!

Well, the M's made it interesting there in the bottom of the ninth, but it just wasn't to be.

Thank God it is finally over.
