Nolan Ryan and his financial backers have successfully bought out the Texas Rangers in last nights bankruptcy auction. They have successfully outbid Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. With one of baseballs strongest farm systems and a shift in financial power I'm guessing the AL West may experience a shift in the balance of power. At least until the A's relocate or build a new stadium. Billy Beane with a $100 mil. to spend is an interesting thought.
