This is getting comedic. You can't use REW and WPA to diagnose whether a batter has holes in his game. You need to look at tools like the pitch-recognition stats that fangraphs provides.
For fun, though, a little comparison to Beltre:
First Bay (and keep in mind, only 1.5 seasons in Boston, the rest in Pittsburgh, which is a pitcher's park.
BABIP: .332
HR/FLy: 17%
GB/FB: 915/1090 (0.84)
LD%: 18.3%
Pitch Type Values: Positive on EVERY. SINGLE. PITCH. Dominant on fastballs
O-SW%: 19.4
Z-SW%: 63.7
O-CT%: 50.4
Z-CT%: 81.1
Now Beltre:
BABIP: .293 (uh oh!)
HR/Fly: 13.1% (uh oh!!)
GB/FB: 1.07 (oh dear!!)
LD%: 19.1
Pitch Type Values: Dominant on Fastballs and change-ups, TERRIBLE on sliders and curveballs (not shocking...not the same as Bay)
O-SW%: 30.1 (50% higher than Bay)
Z-SW%: 70.9 (still higher than Bay)
O-CT%: 59.1 (higher than Bay, which is bad)
Z-CT%: 86.7 (also higher than Bay, which is probably good)
Point being...Bay and Beltre are **************************NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*****************************
alike.
Nothing at all.
Also proved by RE24, REW, WPA, etc.
