Definitely need a winning record on this road trip. Tall order but, it would be nice if they could take both series.

So we go from being shutout and leaving a dozen runners stranded to scoring 14 and hitting awesome with runners ISP.

Can we reach .500 again tomorrow?

That was another fun game to watch!  Gallardo looked great after that first inning.

Hoping for a pitching change there earlier. A throw away game. Pagan just sent down. Chooch on the hill!

Too close.  Should had won this game on a not so nail biting fashion, too many bases loaded wasted, but a W is a W.  Let's get back to .500 tomorrow!

Back to our weekend suckitude, facing a pitcher who hasn't pitched in a year and a half and he's no-hitting us. Meanwhile Paxton got rocked yet again.

Hate these games

More weekend suckitude, can we just forfeit the weekend games rather instead of these embarrasments.

I like to see these guys with everyone back, if it ever happens. Smiley all star break. Felix soon. Segura soon. Kuma soon.

Felix starting next Friday, Kuma possibly Saturday of Sunday. Smiley soon after. Felix pitched well in Tacoma last night.

It will never happen, but they should put Segura, upon his return in the #1 spot and move everyone back one.

Well, atleast we salvaged the last one for a 3-4 Trip...eh.  And it looks like Felix and Kuma are about due back.... so, who to send packing? ... or rather, who to keep? Ok well, Paxton and Miranda will no doubt stay; and then there is the choice between SG and CB?  I think CB had a great first game and did quite well today, but I still like Sammy just a tad better.  Oh well, should be interesting to see how the S5 shakes out after we get those other 2 back????

Oh, and Happy Belated Father's Day to all you Fathers out there!

It will never happen, but they should put Segura, upon his return in the #1 spot and move everyone back one.

Maybe when Segura returns, they can experiment a lot more with lineup configurations. Seager's getting his 2B stroke, so he might be able to keep it up or further kick it up in the magical 2 slot.

There's so much to like in the post-Segura lineup that the team can't really do much wrong. The weakest bat will be Dyson -- and he's merely below average but gives plenty of that super-glovey-ness to warrant near-daily play (he should be out there late in every remotely close game).

AAPs:

Herschel Mack Just call me 'Boog' Powell IV has just been promoted to The Show for the first time and is hoping to stick around for a couple dozen years or so.

Joe Snake Eyes Wieland has been a mid-K, super-low-BB, Groundball machine in the minors and has a ~90 mph FB.  With his potential for masterful zone control, he's looking like the textbook Dipoto-type SP.

Gone, but not forgotten AAPs:
Nick Franklin

Brad Miller

Roenis Elias

Something horrible happened to Franklin and Elias.  Franklin was as sexy a blue-chipper as the M's have seen in a while, but it never materialized.  Elias was a bulldog with lots of Moxy, but fell off.  Miller, after looking like he'll never stick at SS or learn the OF, is forcing the Rays to play him somewhere because of his bat.
