Mariner Central Adopt-A-Players:

DJ Peterson ~ Some how stayed out of the trade mix this off season.  Time to do it.
Luis Liberato ~ Endy Chavez like.  Keeps hanging around.  Bigger upside then most think

Former Adopt-A-Players:

Tom Wilhelmsen ~ In the D-Backs Camp.  Over 4 years service time.  FA in 2018
Mike Zunino ~ 1247 ML PA's - time to get over the Mendoza Line
Jack Reinheimer ~ hit .288 with 20 SB's with AAA Reno Aces in 2016.  Could get a cup of coffee in 2017

Victor Sanchez ~ RIP
Greg Halman ~ RIP

I voted for Baker.

However, I think since this is the Bobby Cox swan song there is going to likely be a "career achievement" influence on the actual vote that "might" nudge him into the top spot. (If the Braves had won the division, this would've been more likely -- but it doesn't look like they'll overtake the Phillies for the East at this point).

But, when your staff ace is Bronson Arroyo and your and you've got TWELVE of your top 13 hitters with OPS+ scores above 100 -- and you're running away with a division race when you were a complete afterthought before the season started - you're doing SOMETHING right.

The purpose of government is to set the minimum standard of behavior for a society, backed up with the power and authority to police and punish those who fail to meet those minimum standards. The purpose of Religion is to encourage people to exceed those standards voluntarily.
