What should they do with these so called trumpets ?

  1. Ban them. Those vuvuzelas are making me nuts. It's like listening to a beehive for 90 minutes. (2 votes [40.00%])

What the heck. Those horns have been in Oakland at the A's games for as long as I can remember. And they're every bit as annoying there.

I tried watching a WC match over the weekend, and that constant annoying hum caused me to change the channel after about 5 minutes.

Adopt-a-Players:
Forrest Snow - Started the year injured, then split the year between AA and AAA. At 27, his career may be winding down.
2016 AA/AAA: 3-4, 2.83 ERA, 61 K, 15 BB, 1.074 WHIP, 54 IP

Career:  33-47,  4.08 ERA, 628 K,  241 BB, 1.257 WHIP,  682 IP

Gone But Not Forgotten (former adopt-a-players):

Alex Jackson - Traded to Atlanta after underwhelming in three years of pro ball.
Eric Thames - Battled injury and had a down year in Korea, only hitting .317/.425/.676/1.101 over 121 games.
Matt Mangini - Out of baseball. Now sells cigars and offers baseball training/evaluation services.
Mike Morse - Released by the Pirates in April. Looks like the end of a 12-year career for the former M's prospect.

The noise does not bother me, but then there is not much that does. I can understand that it bothers others, but a ban though that some are calling for would be a cultural affront.

Ban? What's next? The World is trying to control everything.

Let them use them, let them be noisy, don't like it? This is one of the few times the MUTE button comes handy.
